Weekend Wanderings: Valetta edition

This weekend was rather low key, but the flat is a lot more tidy now and I managed to get in a 6 mile run too, so after all not too shabby. As I mentioned yesterday I would participate in this with my run today, that did certainly help inspire me to get out of the door!

The pictures this weekend are mainly from Valetta, we went there on Saturday as the Mr wanted a shirt. However we were unsuccessful, I do wonder when menswear designers are going to stop designing so boring stuff… (We are talking affordable and available on Malta here…)

Turns out these pictures are mainly of streets and signs and the like, I will probably come back with another edition that include some of the stuff that are mentioned in the guide books… 😉

I though this was a very fancy shop front for a branch of BHS…

I really like orange trees…

They are after all the epitome of orange and green…

The rest of the pictures are actually from earlier in the week, where we had a rather fantastic wind. It lead to waves that were a lot larger than what we normally see here. Along with sea water ending up places where it does not normally end up…

Like here…

and here…

To tie it all together… Here is a view of Valetta and Manoel Island, from Sliema where the other two pictures were also taken!
